Description:

This course provides a comprehensive introduction to digital image processing techniques and algorithms. Students will learn the fundamental principles and concepts of image processing, as well as practical applications in various fields such as computer vision, medical imaging, and remote sensing. Through hands-on exercises and projects, participants will gain the necessary skills and knowledge to process, enhance, and analyze digital images using Python and OpenCV etc.

• Explore color image processing techniques
• Learn Morphological image processing techniques
• Develop skills in image segmentation, object detection and  recognition, allowing you to identify and extract specific features from complex images.

Prerequisites:

Basic Mathematics - Linear Algebra, Vectors and Matrices, Basic Programming (Python recommended)

The course will be offered in live sessions for 12 weeks - 3 hours per week - Evening or Week End Sessions.
